    Hello

    I am trying to add the ‘spa-home’ module position to pages using the Uber – Default template.

    I can’t see a way to add the position, so I have tried to amend an existing one (full-width)

    When I click on configure for the ‘full-width’ position and choose ‘spa-home’, ‘spa-home’ then appears in the layout.

    However, when I click save it reverts to the ‘full-width’ position again?

    Can someone give me a simple step by step guide to help me do this please?

    Many thanks

    Hello Adam,

    Thanks for the reply. I have already tried that.

    I have tried to change the ‘full-width’ module position to the ‘spa-home’ module position.

    It changes on the screen but when I click save it reverts to ‘full-width’

    I cannot get it to save my changes

    Hi @waynefarnworth,

    Basically, to add new module position (not sure what you mean you change instead) you will have to do 2 steps :

    1. Add new position to root_foldertemplatesubertemplateDetails.xml

    2. Call new position via appropriate files in root_foldertemplatesubertplsblocks

    Hello Adam,

    Sorry I didn’t explain it very well.

    Following the first video in the link you gave me – Layout Configuration

    At around 2 minutes in.

    Extension Manager > Template Manager > Choose Template > Layout > Module Position

    Click configuration in top right of module position > Choose new position from list > Save

    This is what I have done but when I click save it reverts to how it was before?

    In the Uber – Default Template, I want to replace the full-width module position with spa-home module position.

    Regards

    Wayne

    Hi @waynefarnworth,

    Sorry for the delay. Look like there’s a problem with folder permission, please open file templatesuberlocaletclayoutdefault.ini or templatesuberetclayoutdefault.ini if you don’t see the file in local folder, then look for this line :

    [full-width]
    xs="hidden"
    position="full-width"

    update as below :

    [full-width]
    xs="hidden"
    position="spa-home"

    Adam,

    You can see how the module is styled on the home page.

    I have attached screenshots of how it looks on the home page and how it looks onthe other pages after being added to the Uber – Default template as per your instructions above.

    Hello Adam,

    I would prefer to do it myself if that’s ok?

    Can you tell me what the problem is please?
