Hi

Are you sure that you are changing settings for your correct layout ? check which template is using your home menu item and then change the settings for that specific layout.

For Example quickstart use as template style in Home menu item the Features-intro layout , so you need to change that layout from your template manager

Thanks, the logo text is showing now, but not that I want because too big . Can I change text logo font size?

Yes you can change the size by using custom.css .
can you share the site url here and the font size that you want for the text
