    Help Please.

My host will not allow 777 and I continue to have errors using Droid…

My email (acajoom) is now not working

And the front page has errors due to these failures.

    See here:

Is there any way to turn off the failure notices on the front page, at the very least?

This is an active site and I cannot keep getting these errors. I know that tech support went in and made some changes but the issues are back again.

    Thanks for your help.

Nope, it is not easy to hide those errors. However, you should be able to set the permissions to something that the script will be able to write to. If the host will not allow 777 ask them what will work and what ownership you should assign to the folders to allow the script to work. They should be able to help you very quickly as long as you get a good support person on the other end.

You could also try enabling ftp mode in Joomla – http://help.joomla.org/content/view/1941/302/1/2/

If that does not work and your host will not help then maybe it is time to think about changing host.
