hi,
i get this an error when i try to delete a child product after using vm stockable variants to create child products for different stock values.

vmError: Attention product is parent, please delete the children first
Product could not be deleted.

the child products dont display on the backend, can i delete the child products manually from phpmyadmin

Please note that when deleting products that have children, you first have to delete the children products first and then delete the parent products. If you try to delete a parent product first, you will receive an error message similar to:

<blockquote>vmError: Attention product is parent, please delete the children first
Product could not be deleted.</blockquote>

Then clear cache from Admin site and you visit your store again, you will no longer see any of the deleted products shown!

Please don’t need to delete the child products manually from phpmyadmin if you are not developer or guru about VM component
