I have downloaded the template, and my template is having issues. First JA_news was not working corrrect, but I was able to fix this by disabling it.

Now I am unable to change the styles / layouts. I make the change under templates in admin, but it does not change the website itself.

i have just installed JA Topaz from quickstart and everything seems to be working OK.

What didn’t work correctly on JA News? Can you be a bit more specific?

As for the styles, did you get any errors when you switched the style in the backend and clicked on Apply or Save?

The drop downs background are not “black” in IE8. Works fine in Chrome…

The error is
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /homepages/XX/DXXXXXXXXXXX/htdocs/final/modules/mod_janews/helper.php on line 102

Host is 1and1

I have select the style and select apply and save. Still does not work.

I have also downloaded the template again from this site, and I am still having the same issues.
