I am getting a message on Joomla 1.5 when trying to change the menu system from standard css to moo or split etc. It says that params.ini in un-writable, even after I have edited the permissions on the file to enable WRITE.

I am trying to get the same menu effect as on the JoomlArt demo for JA-Mageia

And what happends if you edit the parameters.ini locally and then upload it?
