June 27, 2011 at 8:58 pm #165718I have jaslideshow2 installed, 2.2.1. joomla 1.5.23
I removed all the old images from the folder (called topslide on my site) and the corresponding resized folder, and turned off ja slideshow cache. (also turned off resize). I cleared joomla cache and temp folders, cleared my browser cache, and everything else I can think of. Normally this works.
I cannot get the new images to show up! (foxhuntinglife.com images would have janet hitchen photo on them). New images have different names, and all old images have been removed!
If i rename the folder and point to a new folder, no image shows at all.
I even tried on other computer.
Please let me know what else to try, very frustrating!!

June 28, 2011 at 8:37 am #398787I have determined your problem that you cannot get JA slideshow 2 images to refresh, it shows old images . However I couldn’t give the best solution if I don’t know your site. Please give us the login information FTP/Admin account to your support ticket IEB-911-87169 in http://support.joomlart.com. We’ll check for you.
Thanks.

I’ve the same problem and another too in http://www.ritamartinez.it/:
1. I’ve tried with media manager to remove the resized image “saudade_260_140.jpg” but when I try to get to the “/images/resized/images/stories” folder to delete manually this image I get the error:
JFolder::files: Path is not a folder
JFolder::folder: Path is not a folder2. so I removed the image via FTP (but my client does’nt want to use this manually method, of course)
please, can you resolve these my 2 problems?
tell me how can I have eventually a support ticket

June 29, 2011 at 11:57 am #399094I finally got mine to work by uninstalling the module, and reinstalling, then it STILL was showing the old images, but when I deleted them all again (don’t ask me how they got uploaded again) and reuploaded the new it finally worked!!
Probably not much help but that is how I got it to work.

July 1, 2011 at 2:24 pm #399542Thanks for sharing your resolution, that could help others in this case.
August 15, 2011 at 11:54 am #406344This is a work-around, not a solution. Sounds like a problem exists.
