I have installed and configured this module on my dev site http://83.223.125.228/~mnk3/ as per the instructions and advice on this forum. But,sadly, it does not work. It seems as though the news ticker module and the mega menu module were both conflicting with the mootools upgrade plugin for joomla 1.5 so that was turned off. Thiose modules work — though the mega menu will still not animate (if you try to set it to animate the link text turns yellow and it still doesn’t animate!).
I have set the janews_fp module as follows:
class suffix -newsfp or <space>newsfp
joomla content and selected relevant categories
theme selection default
animation duration 500
autoplay yes
autoplay duration 10000
number of articles 10
number of features 4
show headline read more
hide tooltip
in the config above i get one feature displayed with no slide and next and prev buttons show void javascript. It also displays a maximum of four other articles no matter what I do in the configurations.
I can only get the six secondary articles to display if i set number of features to 1.
I just want it to work like your demo and it just will not work.

Please check how many featured article you have in selected directory (s) that you have choosen to display on newsfp module. You need at least 4 articles marked as featured (like our demo)

ok, opened ticket. Also downloaded and installed updated plugins, template, and modules. Now we are back to where we started as slider in newsfp still does not work, and now menu and ticker have stopped working. Oh, and tabs, which used to work, no longer work.
bump….problem still unresolved. No one from j.o.o.m. has even been into my site since 10 jan to look….
OK, I have found the cause of this problem — Teline IV/T3 is INCOMPATIBLE with JomSocial and CommunityBuilder. If you unpublish these components and associated plugins/modules, it will work properly. Not so good as CB is one of the most popular add-ons in all of Joomla.

I installed the 2 components Social and CB, plugins and modules of them. I see JANews Front page module still work normally. You can send us the URL, the admin account on your site. I’ll check on that. Thanks you 🙂
I have sent the url (http://www.mynextkitchen3.com) and admin credentials to four different people in your support as well as phil here on your forums. After four weeks we still have the same problem — JAP Popups does not work work on pages other than home page.
Also, the performance of the template is unusable. Most of the time when I try to select a page there is a delay and then a blank page is displayed. Often I must refresh the page several times before it displays. This is a huge problem.

You try reinstall latest version of two modules: JA News FP & JA News Pro then set Enable cache of modules. Performance will be improved quite a lot.
