I have downloaded the JA Sulfur template and tried for hours to install it on Joomla 1.6. I have tried to do upload and install which after 4 hours produced nothing, then i have uploaded it to the tmp folder and tried to do an install from there but get this message:
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file
Path does not have a valid package.
I have had a look on the forum and also tried to find the “Detailed User Guide” but could not.
I am getting really fed up with this, have wasted the entire day – please help

JA Sulfer is not available for Joomla 1.6 yet.

I am getting the same errors when trying to install ja minisite.j16 into a fresh joomla 1.6 install. Any tips!!!!
I have uploaded the .zip file via ftp to the tmp directory in the server. I’ve tried installing it from that location. I’ve also tried unzipping it and installing it from the file directory. Each time I get this error message:
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file
It’s a 1.6 template, I have Joomla 1.6 installed, I’ve added my “domain” as one of the three domains allowed by JoolArt (don’t know if that matters though…)….????
