October 18, 2011 at 10:42 pm #169804I am running JA Minisite on Joomla! 1.7.0
I have an article that needs to load an accordion and iframe wrapper module, using {loadposition MODULENAME}
However, the article refuses to load both modules properly. Instead, it loads the first module twice, making two instances of the accordion appear. If I unpublish the accordion, then the wrapper loads properly by itself. Meanwhile removing the second loadposition (for the wrapper) makes only one instance of the accordion module appear.
I’ve tried this with other modules, and the issue is still present. While the accordion module does not explicitly say it is 1.7 ready, the issue remains when I tried with other modules and the wrapper module is one of the 1.7 core modules. I believe it is something within the 1.7 core that doesn’t like multiple different modules being loaded into a single article.
You can view the page in question here: http://minorityrecruiting.us/index.php/career-opportunities/job-listings/career-search-engine
It should look like this page on a sister website, which is J! 1.6.6: http://www.blackperspective.com/index.php/career-opportunities/job-listings/career-search-engineAny advice would be appreciated.

Update: I thought to try and see if I could load multiple modules on other pages, however the symptoms remain the same. It must be something within the Joomla core itself.

October 19, 2011 at 2:46 am #420103are you using separate position assignments for the modules?
Try using separate positions for each module in the module assignment option, then you should be able to separate them since they have unique positionsJohn Wesley Brett ModeratorJohn Wesley Brett

October 19, 2011 at 5:29 pm #420265Upgrade your Joomla! 🙂
Check to make sure you are using the most current version of Joomla – 1.7.2
This was one of the many 1.7 bugs that has since been fixed and should be included in the latest iteration.http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/tracker/?action=TrackerItemEdit&tracker_item_id=26446
Have fun!

October 19, 2011 at 6:42 pm #420281For the record, yes, I did have them as different, unique module positions. Thank you for the insight, though.
That did the trick! Thank you very much.
