Can you be a little more specific , thats, is your website very new , are you having this problem for the first time , were you able to rettrieve the resumes before ?

There would be different reasons for the problem you are facing. According to me you should right click on the attachment and open it on the new tab because sometimes google open it by their own software. If it will not work than try to save that attachment to you hard drive and open it with some good compatible software because may be your sofware is not recognizing that file. 🙂
