Hello

when trying to open gives this error:
Fatal error: Cannot make static method JModel::addIncludePath() non static in class JAEMModel in …………administrator/components/com_jaextmanager/models/model.php on line 0

What is wrong?

Hi dnazarex,

First, on your server, pls back up your configuration.php, then find & replace :


public $log_path = '// your logs path';
public $tmp_path = '// your tmp path';


with


public $log_path = '../logs';
public $tmp_path = '../tmp';


2. Update our JAM with latest version 2.5.5 here.

If you still get this error message, pls send me your admin & ftp account via PM for further checking.

I am having a similar problem. I’ve been updating a site for a friend and found numerous updates for the JA extensions, including the T3 Framework. I managed to get through the T3 updates, but got about half way through another set when I got the same Fatal Error message as dnazarex. I’ve looked the proposed solution, but If I understand the syntax you are using, the configuration file already has the trailing /logs’, and tmp’ in the name.
Can you address this problem for me?

Hi burthardin,

Firstly, pls backup all your modified files on your friend’s website now before making any extension upgrade.
Secondly, inform me that you did backup my mentioned files before sending me PM with your admin account for checking the root of this issue.
