Yes it will work. Make sure your Typo PLUGIN is enabled. There are two of them….one for the button, the other for content. Enable both.
Have fun!

You can go to phpMyadmin and choose your database. In the table list find jos_plugins and click on browse. There you can see a list of plugins that installed on your site and find the plugin you want to unpublish. Click on Edit and find Published text field. In this filed you can change 1 to 0 and click on Go at the bottom of the page.
This will unpublish your plugin.

Sorry I just answered for Joomla 1.5…There is no jos_plugins in Joomla 1.6 and Joomla 1.7… Than you can find jos_extensions and click on Edit. Than your all extensions will be listed, so you can look for plg_yourplugin and click on edit and than you can change 1 to 0 for Enabled field.

John</blockquote>John,
I have an issue where JA Typo is available in the JCE Editor but when I click on the JA Typo button and the window opens with all of the JA Typography functions listed, I can only access the top half. When I scroll down to the “Buttons” category for instance, and try to move my mouse over to click on anyone of them, the window automatically scrolls to the top, making the functions at the bottom of the list unaccessible. I am using Joomla 1.5, template JA Purity II, JCE Editor 2.0.14, and have had this issue with different versions of JA Typo – I now have version 2.0.6 installed.
2 Questions:
– is this an issue related to your answer above, and if so, what Typo PLUGIN title will I look for related to the content? The only one I recognized related to JA Typo was ” Button – JA Typography”.
– if this issue is not related to your answer above, have you ever heard it before?
