I’m trying to do the routine updates on my website but even though I have the message:

New version found!
– 1.1.2 [New! 2011-12-30] Change log – Compare – Upgrade now
– 1.1.1 [New! 2011-12-09] Change log – Compare – Upgrade now
I cannot perform the update.
Thanks.

January 24, 2012 at 7:34 am #435146Please make sure if you have put your JA access details in Service manager > Joomlart updates configuration. Without the active access details JA extensions will not be upgraded.. Once you have that in place click on the Upgrade Now link you specified in your post..
January 24, 2012 at 3:21 pm #435184Hi Himangi,
Thanks for the quick response. I added the access details in Service Manager. I forgot to say in the previous post that the rest of the modules and plugins or components from Joomlart are no having this problem.
Regards,
Luis

January 25, 2012 at 7:01 am #435311Hi,
I am not sure why you cant upgrade JA News Featured when you can upgrade all other plugins and modules.. Can you provide your site admin details via PM so that I can try upgrading it and see what errors are coming, if there are any.?

January 27, 2012 at 7:15 am #435647Hi
I tried upgrading JA News Featured but kept seeing message Processing. Please wait…
I also tried to upgrade the extension by downloading the latest version from JA site. Then uploaded it using upload link in the message
All versions of extensions are stored in Ja Repository (Edit), to start using auto update of supported extension, Upload new version of the extension now.
Please read Help and support for more information. at top of the page.. And it still showed me the same message as above. So I would suggest to check the file and folder permissions for this module and see if changing perms upgrades the extension. If not, let me know I will ask some one else to take a look at it.
January 27, 2012 at 2:29 pm #435701Thanks I will try that and let you know.
Regards,
Luis
