Hey all,
I installed the Template quickstart option and everything works fine. But when i try to save changes in the Template configuration, nothing happens. So i cant change something. im using the firefox, but i also tried it with the IE. The IE tells me there is something wrong with the ‘jat3admin’..
What do i have to change.
PS. Im new here so sry if the question is stupid :-/

November 25, 2010 at 6:51 pm #364279Make sure you apply the changes then clear the cache by pressing the JAT3 Clean Cache button at the top of the page and clear your browsers cache or try a different browser.

November 25, 2010 at 8:13 pm #364285When you save your data it is saved to ja_anion>local>etc>profiles>default.ini (at least the default profile is). Please check to see if your changes are correct in there and if not please check the permissions of that folder and files.
November 25, 2010 at 8:52 pm #364292the default.ini sais:
screen_fixed_width=700
the permission of the folder ja_anion>local>etc>profiles is 777
but it still doesnt work

If the width is set to 700 then that must have been written too. Can you post a link?

YOu need to put clear value for the width of the layout:
You must to put value 700px, not 700, or you put 95%, or 100% if you would like to layout having auto resize follow the screen.

February 9, 2011 at 7:56 pm #375911Holy Cow! What a nightmare. I had an error message when trying to save Global Settings. Enabling FTP mode fixed it. Who knew that FTP mode was required? This cost me hours, as I was trying to figure out whether I had some permissions issues, ultimately causing me to overwrite the Quickstart to see whether one of the updates had broken it.
It would be very courteous and functional if the template/framework could tell us when required conditions are not met.
