Hi all
First of all – I’ not a developer. I work with Joomla from time to time but not frequently enough to find out what’s going wrong here.Backstory:
I upgraded my website from Joomla 1.5.11 to 2.5.26. I first installed a new 2.5.25 and then used a migration tool to migrate the database into the new joomla version.
After that I also upgraded the template from purity to purity 2.Now I have a strange problem. In the template settings I can’t save any changes to the profile. When I change something it shows a red bar over the item and won’t let me save the settings.
I’ll attach a screenshot
Anyone can help with the issue?
thanks in advance
Bettina

October 2, 2014 at 6:48 am #551492Hi there,
I got your ajax script error. But look like you are using wired version of T3 plugin.
Would you mind uninstall your T3 plugin and install with our latest one:
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=473
Please also do backup your site before any process.
Thank you,
Viet VuOctober 2, 2014 at 6:56 am #551494Thanks a lot I try this.
So did you fix the error? Or will it be fixed only after I use the other plugin?

October 2, 2014 at 7:05 am #551496Hi there,
I expected it would be fixed after update to latest. Please also help me to check your Purity 2 template. And make sure it’s latest too 🙂After updated if your issue still not fixed, please feel free to let me know. I’ll be there .
Thank you,
Viet VuOctober 2, 2014 at 7:12 am #551497I tried, but my installation obviously needs the JA T3 plugin to work. It’s not the same but it came with the purity II version I’m using
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=402Changing the plugin does not work – the website isn’t showing anymore. I had to change it back to the one who came with purity (the one in the link)

If needed ( and allowed ). I’ll try to copy your site into my localhost and work on it.
Please let me know your feedback.Thank you,
Viet VuOctober 2, 2014 at 7:17 am #551500as long as you work on the copy 😉
Please don’t touch the original – it cost me already hours to get to this stage 😉

October 2, 2014 at 12:10 pm #551543Hi there,
I got your issue. Consider it’s our T3 bug. I’ll report this one to developer team. We’ll respond you in very soon.
For now please check into language files:
administratorlanguagede-DEde-DE.com_proforms.ini
administratorlanguagede-DEde-DE.com_proforms.sys.ini
And try to remove this language line
DEFAULT="Auflistung aller Kategorien"
Because default profile will match DEFAULT language string. And it’ll be translated. Than bump ! Javascript error.
name = pname.getElement('.ja-profile-title').get('text').toLowerCase();
json['profiles'][name] = profiles[name].working;
I have not yet touch it on your live site but confirmed with cloned your site in my localhost.
Thank you,
Viet VuOctober 2, 2014 at 12:37 pm #551544I removed the line in both documents, but I still have the same error.

October 3, 2014 at 3:52 am #551613Hi there,
Look like something else on your site still have language string DEFAULT.
And keep translate this default profile.
About this bug i already reported to dev team. They’ll fix it asap.
For now please temporary rename it to “Default” before process ( with debugger ).https://www.dropbox.com/s/1vdch11punpucfj/2014-10-03_10-48-13.png?dl=0
Thank you,
