    I have three moduels published in JA Antares that I am having an issue with. I cannot get moduels 8,9 and top to be the same width as each other. Moduel 8 is smaller width wise than the other two. They should all be roughly 33.3% of the page. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    well try using other modules not text. if you use news module or something with text i can vary the width. see if that helps. you can see how mine are fine at my site http://www.andreejette.com/index.php

    Thanks for the reply. I understand.

    It seems though that even the demo site here uses text. I hope I can find a way to use text.

    Thanks again

    I Still have not got a reply from support on this… seems like that is the general issue here. Anyone have any potential solutions?

    Hi,

    the problem seems to be the content in the first box. When I copy the content of the second box to the first one everything is fine. So my guess would be that you did something different to the content in the first box. Maybe the problem is coming from a wysiwyg-editor. What happens if you copy exactly the same text in all three boxes using no wysiwyg?

    first you need to try and place just standard modules that come with joomla most will work and make the 3 areas the same size. look at my site http://www.andreejette.com/index.php

    now when you make your text you can place your text in a div or in a table with the wsiwig editor.

    make a table 1 by 1 and limit the size then enter your text so that it will stay smaller than the table its in. problem with text is it resizes and can be aligned and what not. play around with it and it will work out .

    I noticed in the HTML that there is no width specified:

    <div id=”ja-box1″ class=”ja-box” style=”width: ;”>

    These should all specify 33.3% correct?

    If so, where would I update that in the index.php file?”

    Thanks

    are you letting people resize or do you have a set size. i suggest to use the wide version and remove the width selection. then you can set a fixed width to your table size to fit in the module areas.

    It seems that your site works fine now. The width of those boxes are calculated dynamically in index.php file (depending on the number of box). In some case, if the module content has a width wider than the box, it could cause the problem.

    Thanks for the replies. To fix the issue, I simply deleted the original index.php file and uploaded the latest version. All seems to work fine now.
