Hi
Your site is heavily customized that creating the problem . i tested fresh package but i am not able to replicate this problem .
I suggest you to disable the custom.css because there is too much custom codes that may effecting this and check site .
You can also disable the code one by one to check this issue .
I notice one of the code is affecting is here in custom.css

.t3-wrapper, .t3-masthead + .t3-mainbody {
    background-color: #FFF;
}
