I have this problem that doesnt seem to go away, when i create a new module the ID issued is 0, when i go to edit it does not open the edit window, I have everything to latest including the template. Please help me out. Thanks

Hi
This seems to be problem in your Joomla Db and permission issue . First i suggest you to check the Permission of the module folders on your site and Apply the suggestion given here

i have tried this but it doesnt work. the module folders permissions are all set to to 755. I tried to reset to fix the database but nothing changed. I get these results though

Database schema version (in #__schemas): 3.4.0-2015-02-26.
Update version (in #__extensions): 3.4.8.
Database driver: mysqli.
79 database changes were checked successfully.
142 database changes did not alter table structure and were skipped.

that is all there is.

Hi
In this case i suggest you to write the issue on the core Joomla forum Here as it been issue in the Joomla .
While if your site is fresh install of Joomla or quickstart i suggest you to try another install , i tested on my localhost did not found any issue .
