    I am using JA Rave 1.6. Neither the breadcrumbs nor the SEARCH modules are displaying on the home page (or any page for that matter). I have searched several forum problems that sorta relate but not close enough that I feel comfortable utilizing the supplied solutions, i.e, replace
    <block name=”content-top” type=”navhelper” main-inner=”1″>breadcrumbs</block> with
    <block name=”content-mass-top” type=”spotlight” main-inner=”1″>yourposition1,yourposition2,yourposition 3,yourposition4,yourposition5</block> or that I need k name=”breadcrums” type=”navhelper” main-inner=”1″></block>

    I don’t know what any of this means. Please let me know how to get these items displayed on a web browser (shouldn’t this have been working before I purchased the template?).

    thanks

    On the demo page we already have a search box shown. Is that not where you want it? If you want it in a normal module position that should not be a problem.

    Onto the breadcrumbs, where would you like them? Please post images showing exactly where you want them. It would also be very helpfull if you could raise a ticket including your URL, and admin logon and ftp details them post your ticket ID in this thread so we can then take a look in detail for you.

    Ok _ I would be happy to send you admin login and pass, can you pls tell me how to send that info via PM? (Sorry but this is the first time I have ever purchased a template from Joomlart and am not yet familiar with your forum setup)

    I see now that the search box is appearing in both IE and Firefox. Yesterday it did not display in FireFox but I did notice it was displaying in IE. Does this have anything to do with my cache settings?

    I am still no seeing the breadcrumbs, though.

    Yes, I see it now. That is where I want the search box – it was not displaying yesterday – I swear – I wear glasses but I am not blind! As I asked khoand, does this have something to do with my cache settings?

    I am sorry, I do not know how to do that. I would like the breadcrumbs as they are currently set in the demo – right above the dark area at the bottom of the main content section.

    Any guidance you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
    thank you

    Hi jonesmark,

    Really sorry for this late response, I dont know why Phil did not continue following up. I will give you the solution to show the breadscrum right now:

    1. Add the block navhelper into the bottom section by, go to admin > Templala manager > Ja Rave > Layout tab > Edit default layout, add this into the bottom section:

    <block name="navhelper" type="navhelper"></block>

    so that it looks like:

    <blocks name="bottom" style="xhtml">
    <block name="navhelper" type="navhelper"></block>
    <block name="botsl" type="spotlight" main-inner="1" >user6,user7,user8,user9,user10</block>
    <block name="footer" type="footer"></block>
    </blocks>

    2. Open templatesja_ravecsstemplate.css, add this code to the end:

    .ja-breadcrums {
    margin-left: 15px;
    }
    #ja-navhelper .main {
    border-left: solid 1px #DDD;
    border-right: solid 1px #DDD;
    }
    .ja-links {
    margin-right: 15px;
    }

    I have logged in using accounts provided and have already done all, you just need to check the site. Please let me know if it satisfy your need and if you need further help.

    Hung.
