Can’t Get Favicon To Change

    So I created my custom favicon … saved it as favicon.ico … replaced the default favicon.ico in my template root folder …
    yet it will not display.

    Is there an additional file or setting somewhere I need to alter?

    Please manually copy your new favicon file to this folder
    /plugins/system/jat3/base-themes/default/images/favicon.ico

    PS: I can’t login with FTP account that you gave

    That did not seem to work either . . .

    UPDATE:
    Oddly enough …. IT NOW WORKS !!! 😀

    Wonder why it took so long to function properly – I cleared the cache and everything.
    Oh well … all’s well that ends well.

    FOLLOW-UP QUESTION . . . .

    Can I make the background of my favicon transparent so that a white box doesn’t appear around my image?
    Does the .ico extension allow for this ??

    Please see the favicon of our site.
    Its background is transparent.
    So, I think that it’s able 🙂
