    Hi,

    I have 4 problems I still cannot sort out.

    1. I cannot get the import data feed to work – I submitted a support ticket for this about a week ago now and someone was going to create a working example for me on my site.

    2. I have created a page for my job board and used the load position to display it. I have created a menu link. When a user clicks on the Menu Link, it first opens a blank page with my website name, then the user has to click on the link again to load the jobs page. I have checked the link and it correctly selects the right article. How do I correct this problem?

    3. When a user logs in i.e. as an employer, and then clicks on the job board link, the are first shown a blank page with a message: no jobs found, they click a second time and the job tabs appear. The Employer menu links don’t work they return a 404 error

    4. Jobs don’t appear: I have added a test job in the back end but it does not show in the Job list, nor does it show on the jobs Map

    Hello melanieb,

    I checked up on your site and found that for issue 2 i am getting to jomsocial profile first and then if i click again i can go to job board.
    I will try to reproduce this issue on localhost and see if i can find a solution for you!

    Regards

    Manos

    Edit: In the mean time can you please disable compression tool on your site, and check if any of this issues remains ?

    Pascm,

    I have turned off the optimisation tool: JCH_Optimize is that what you meant? It still seems to have the issue. Are you logged in now?

    Yes i am in and i can see the Job Board tabs (i guess this is the module position that you have created) with one click and no 2 like before.

    Dear melanieb

    1. I cannot get the import data feed to work – I submitted a support ticket for this about a week ago now and someone was going to create a working example for me on my site.

    We are checking on your site. Please wait.

    Please give us that link.
    We have checked on your site with the link YOUR_SITE/jobs.html, it still works.

    3. When a user logs in i.e. as an employer, and then clicks on the job board link, the are first shown a blank page with a message: no jobs found, they click a second time and the job tabs appear. The Employer menu links don’t work they return a 404 error
    =>
    Please tell us the steps that employer can see their menu links to click or that URL.
    We have logged in with a test employer account, we can’t see the Employer menu links, it show JomSocial menu links.

    4. Jobs don’t appear: I have added a test job in the back end but it does not show in the Job list, nor does it show on the jobs Map
    =>
    We have fixed this issue on your site. Please check again.

    We have checked on your site with the link YOUR_SITE/jobs.html, it still works. The new JHob Board link you have created now opens just the job list. How do i get the tabs to show?

    3. When a user logs in i.e. as an employer, and then clicks on the job board link, the are first shown a blank page with a message: no jobs found, they click a second time and the job tabs appear. The Employer menu links don’t work they return a 404 error

    We have logged in with a test employer account, we can’t see the Employer menu links, it show JomSocial menu links. I am not sure why the Employer menus are not showing, I can see the menus in Menus, but I can’t see a module for them – should there be a module?

    4. Jobs don’t appear: I have added a test job in the back end but it does not show in the Job list, nor does it show on the jobs Map
    =>
    We have fixed this issue on your site. Please check again. I can’t see the tabs to be able to view the Map

    Further update on issue 3. The menu is now displaying, but the links still don’t work at all, still the same 404 error, this is also the case with the jobs board menu. However, if there is already a job posted there by me, I can open it, edit it etc.

    Just to say, now that I am finally able to view parts of the job board, I am very impressed! Once it’s fully working I will be well pleased with the product 🙂
