I can connect to Amazon s3 and upload new files no worries but I can’t get it to serve the files from s3 – they still are being loaded locally I have tried to get the template css files and images to be served from s3.

The bucket is private (as are sub folders) – I don’t want people hotlinking to files and I know it should be possible to link to those files if you give s3 login credentials.

When I make it public it works but not when private – as stated above though that is not what I want to do it.

The plugin is enabled and above the cache.

can I get someone to look at it for me please.

    Hello mate,

You must enable bucket to get files loaded from s3.
Because, if a bucket is disabled and you can’t load file from it and your site will be broken.

    Best regards,

Im using Jom Social 1.6, sick of emailing them now for advice, Im using Jomsocial within Joomla 1.5, JA is pointing my pictures ok, but videos is just not working for some reason.

My hositing is shared and does not support FFMEG & Flvtool2, I was hoping as ive read somewere that it should not need this with Amazon S3, is this correct?
    🙂
