I have set all settings for my articles to hide the create, modify and publish dates. The articles display correctly except on the home page where the published date still shows, but without a description that it is the published date. This is causing a lot of confusion from patrons who think that this is the date of the event that the article is about.
I’ve set to hide the info within the article manager global settings, in the articles themselves, in the main menu item, but still won’t display properly.
I also cleared the JAT3 cache, Joomla cache and browser cache.
Thanks.

April 7, 2015 at 8:52 pm #566200Do you want to hide the date AND the “Presented By …” content?
April 7, 2015 at 9:10 pm #566205Yes, just want the title, text and image on frontpage articles.

April 7, 2015 at 9:12 pm #566206Do me a favor . . . temporarily set “Optimize CSS” to “Off” within your Template Manager–General settings
April 7, 2015 at 9:17 pm #566209Trying to fix this for a friend….
I turned off Optimize CSS.
When I was in the template settings, I saw that Development Mode was enabled. I turned it off, too, and reset my caches again. No luck.

April 7, 2015 at 9:25 pm #566214Try This . . . .
Within file path —> /templates/ja_portfolio/css/template.css
at line 233, modify as follows:
dl.article-info dd {
display: none;
margin: 0;
text-transform: uppercase;
}SAVE CHANGES – CLEAR CACHE – REFRESH PAGE
Is that what you were wanting to accomplish?

April 7, 2015 at 9:40 pm #566228Worked well. Thanks.
It sucks that none of the setting changes worked, though.
