    Hi

I have Ioncube. I can install all modules and compnents of JA Job Board. But….

The frontend hangs. There is just an errormessage and no page. A modul can’t create a folder.

In the backend when I start the modul in the componentmenue there is the error message “can’t create folder”.

When I look at the directorystructur all JA Job Board-Directories have apache as owner. I think, this comes from the installation with ioncube.

How can I install Job Board?

    best regards
    Andreas

Did you ever pinpoint the issue?

pinpoint the issue? I don’t understand this sentence.

I have two homepages, one with .de and one with.ch.
The german-site has Ioncube and is my playground for the swiss-site.

Ioncube isn’t very popular around here and the hosting company won’t install it. Ioncube isn’t the problem, but at the end it will be. I have to use the jobboard at the swiss-site, therefore I installed another job-module (not from joomlart).

    The site is imScheinwerfer.ch

    best regards

    Hi Andreas,

Please confirm whether you have bought an official license for JA Job Board at your site yet? As the component is no longer available with trial version since 16/Oct/2009 and it now comes with 30-day moneyback guarantee, there might be many errors with the trial one as we do not maintain it anymore.

If you are using an official license, kindly try to intall the jobboard again following the INSTALLATION GUIDE. If you are still unable to get it installed on your site, kindly login JA Helpdesk system, submit a ticket including all necessary credentials so that we can investigate the issue for you ASAP.

Hi. I logged in as usual, look through the joomlart-site and saw this plugin, downloaded it and installed it with all the components. Afterwards as I went back I saw, that it needs a licence. But there is the problem with Ioncube for our “official”-site. on our backup-site Ioncube is running, at the offical-site not.
Therefore jobboard is no option for us, even it looks very fine.

The problem with the owner “apache” would be solvable.

Thanks. I will buy Jobboard when it is in German and not Ioncube-Coded. In the meantime I go with the other joblist.

    Tanks

    >> Actually, all other sites currently using JA Job Board together Ioncube encounter no such problem. Please keep us informed on your admin account and FTP access for further inspecting?

Only < 5% core files of the system is encoded and this shall not have any limit on customization & further development of the job board. This is for the purpose of properly distribution and protection against software infringement only.

    >>Actually, JA Jobboard is highly supportive and open-ended component that you can add new language or make your site multi-languages with no hassle.
