Hi
I am sure that this is simple but I am lost as I have never had to install a module from the directory

When I try and install the JA Comments, I get and error JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file

I assume that this is becouse my server is not able to unpack the installer.?

I extracted the files on my PC and uploaded them via FTP to my temp folder.

inside the extracted folder are three folders

Module
Component
Plugin

and inside each of these are some files that are still .ZIP

THE ISSUE
I have looked at the installation instructions and it shows that the path to load from directory should be.

/content/Hosting/c/h/chefshop.ie/subdomains/disab/web/tmp/mydirectory/

but when I use this I get and error

Path does not have a valid package.

I am sure I am missing something. What do I do.

PM me your site access details including FTP. It all works normal in my local set up.

Thanks for the reply, I did get it to install.
I had to unzip and install each individual module, plugin, etc seperatly.
