    Hi,
I’m new to Joomla and JAT3 2.0. I think it seems to be a smooth solution using JAT3 2.0 for Joomla 1.6 so I decided to try it. I’m not sure if I’m doing this the right way though:

I downloaded JA T3 Blank For Joomla 1.6.x from this link:
    http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=2087
That is all I need to install it, right? It’s type was labeled as quickstart in the download section of JAT3 2.0 for Joomla 1.6 which I guess would suit me good 🙂

I created a folder in my www folder in my Wamp folder and copied all the extracted files from the downloaded zip-file. Then I installed it the same way I would do with a normal Joomla 1.6 install. (I’ve tried installing the “normal” Joomla 1.6 before with success)

When the install is done and I try to access the administrator or home page frontend, it’s not working. When I try to get to the administrator log in I don’t see any log in fields to type in my details. Just the image of the padlock and the text:
    “Joomla! Administration Login
Use a valid username and password to gain access to the administrator backend.
    Go to site home page.”

When I click “Go to site home page” I get “404 – Component not found”

    I’m on Win7x64
    Wamp server 2.1

    Hello,

Have you installed Joomla on live server? can you please give me admin access and FTP details? so that I can look at that problem.

Or you could just try to install a fresh Joomla 1.6 installation on your wamp and install the T3 plugin and template manually using the extension manager.

I recently tried installing on a live server, but ended up with the same problem. Could it be that I’m not installing the sample data? Is that something I have to do?

I’ll try your suggestion mitti2000 too.
