I just purchased the Job Board, but I can’t install it either using quickstart or individually. Quickstart just goes to a blank screen and when I try to install individually, it comes back with errors with the coding??

Please help.

Did the job board take over the entire site??? I was of the understanding it could just be integrated with my existing site.

Your old site i’ve renamed public_html -> public_html-
You can restore it as you needed. This current site is JA JobBoard quickstart as you asked ?
Or something confuse here ?

You scared me 🙂

What I was wanting to do was to make the job board part of my existing site. So when you click on the job boards link it would still be in the template just like JomSocial, EasyDiscuss, etc and integrate with the users etc. Is that possible? Sorry about the confusion.

Oh man ,… I see why
JA JobBoard until now have not yet supported for Joomla 1.7, and your website using Joomla 1.7.0 ( please upgrade to 1.7.1 for lots of bugs fixing ).
That’s why you have trouble with installation.

I upgraded to 1.7.1, but it wont install. Am I out of luck getting it to work with my existing site?

No, I meaning this component only supported for Joomla 1.5 and not yet with Joomla 1.6 / 1.7
I just only mention you about site upgrade to 1.7.1 as friendly mention only, not relative this JA JobBoard issue 🙂
