March 20, 2013 at 8:48 am #487167i just made the unwrittable folders that you told me to writtable, the problem still exists.
i see also that the lo and temp folder are unwrittable although the folders are set to 777 in the server files (sorry for my english)tsiappas Friendtsiappas

Hi
Yes i seen that
You need to make the 2 folders writable since the temp folder is used by Joomla
I don’t know which are the settings of your hosting but you can ask them the correct chmod for your folders
This is not Joomla related but server configuration related
So try first to have all folders writable and the try again to install

March 22, 2013 at 12:48 pm #487479i talked to the guys that have the server but the cannot do anything, the folder permissions are setup correctly, any ideas of what causes the problem? i see the permissions myself, they are set to 777, but in joomla the folders are still unwrittable
