I currently have the first version of the JA University template on fibroandpain.org, but would like to install the new T3 template. However, I have not been able to upload it all day after many tries and unzipping folders and changing settings and downloading just the template and source file. . I keep receiving this error:
Warning – JInstaller: Install: Can’t find XML setup file.
Error: Unable to find install packageHow do I install this template?
Thank you!

December 15, 2015 at 9:05 am #814384Hi,
I guess you download all packages (template/plugin/module/…) once and you will get one zip file, please try to unzip it first, then install template, module or plugin separately via Extensions manage.
December 15, 2015 at 4:30 pm #815364I also tried this yesterday and received the same error message. Do you have any other advice?

December 15, 2015 at 8:24 pm #815707Dear nfmcpa,
I have faced the same issue regarding our school website tis.edu.sa. I have contacted JoomlArt Support and please find the answers which was sent to me from installation@joomlart.com:
"The template JA University comes with 2 versions, the first one is for JA T3 framework (T3v2) and the other one is T3 framework (T3v3). Your current site is running with version for JA T3 framework and I can help you to update it to latest version.
In case you want to migrate from version for JA T3 framework to T3 framework, I’m afraid that this task is beyond our support scope since those version are using different mechanism concept and you might have to hire a developer to migrate it for you instead."
But unfortunately, i tried updating the template but no results where found. I do recommend you to install the newest quickstart (template package) and migrate your content to the template. Also be reminded that not updating your template, plugins, …..etc will add the possibility to be hacked.
Please feel free to contact me in case you needed any further help.
Regards,
Ahmad Moussa a_moussa@tis.edu.sa ahmadm42@hotmail.com

December 16, 2015 at 3:34 am #816079@tishelpdesk42: Yes, JA University template is working with both versions of T3 framework and you can see it from here
I am not sure about JA University template and T3 framework version are working on your site, it’s very hard to suggest the solution for you, you can include the credentials info via Set as private reply, I will help you to check it further.

December 17, 2015 at 4:56 am #818096Your current site is running with the version for JA T3v2 framework, not T3 framework latest version. We provide 2 versions for this JA University template due to the request of customers for the usage of this template with new T3 framework. So, unfortunately, the new JA University – T3 framework is not a upgrade of the old one and in order to use this new version, you will need to install and configure like start from scratch.
This progress will take a lot of time, below are some steps you can follow:
December 17, 2015 at 8:18 pm #819108Hi Ninja,
I already realized this, I guess I was confused what you were checking. The problem is I cannot upload and install the new template. I keep receiving the error messages I mentioned in the beginning.
Can you answer that question?
Thank you!

December 18, 2015 at 2:53 am #819457@nfmcpa: I installed T3 framework and ja_university_t3 directly on your site, see the screenshot. But I set it disables because you can not able to run both T3 framework versions on your site.
December 18, 2015 at 10:14 pm #821043Ah, I see. Thank you so much!
