    Hi All,

I am new to Joomla and also installing templates. I have installed Joomla on local computer with XAMPP. I am trying to install this template through Extention Manager. But when i try to upload the package i get a error “Error! Could “-find” an XML setup file in the “package.”
I am trying to upload “JA_Edenite_v1.2_for_Joomla_1.5.x.zip” file. I have also tried to upload “ja_edenite_quickstart_v1.2_1.5.3.zip” file but same result.

Can you please guide me as to how i can install this template on my enviournment.

    Many Thanks

Try to unzip the package: JA_Edenite_v1.2_for_Joomla_1.5.x.zip and just copy it to your joomla installations template folder. Make sure you have the folder “ja_edenite” and all files inside there.

    agreed with menalto

when you unzip the zip file, you should have several new zip files, one which should be the correct template zip file.

bugger – too many zips in this reply!! 😉

No, its just that the new download system is not as it should be, all files need apropiate(<—–is this a correct word?) names.
JA-Edenite_ Quickstart1.5 should be what it says, ready to upload or unzip for use.

JA-Edenite_Template1.5 should be the template ready to install with the installer.

JA-Edenite_ Slideshow1.5 should be the slideshow ready to install.

Many of the files needs some changes to make it more easy for all of us.

If you want to migrate to your server, you must:
    – upload files to your server
    -Export database
    – Create new database on your server, import database file from localhost
    – Edit configuration.php follow your server info
