I can’t run JA Teline Quickstart .My localhost is The AppServ Open Project – 2.5.8….
1.How can I do ?
2.If I upload JA Teline Quickstart to real server,will It run?

Have you checked out the video tutorial on how to implement the JA Teline Quickstart? If not I suggest you first look at this one. 🙂

I viewed the tutorial and read the user guide, and it does not explain how to run the quickstart effectively; because the quickstart has some files that restrict installation in anything but root.

I think. But who would know? How would we know? It is not documented anywhere. Nor are other critical issues for Teline. Teline is packed with applications and components that are not detailed. Such as — how to get the RSS icon to insert in the end of a document. If you try to copy and paste content with the RSS icon included, the icon will not appear in the pasted content. Why? Because it probably requires a speical tag — but of course you can see it in source and there is no notes in the user guide.

It seems that Joomlart is not supporting their templates. Perhaps I’m wrong, but all you get from the members is, “I don’t get paid to help…”: and when you email the person who seems to own the business — he ignores you and ignores your posts.

Does anybody on this board know the templates?

I don’t like to see idiots humiliated, but I have had it with the “more technical than thou” anti-social door mats who believe that misrepresentation is acceptable — as long as they can socialize with other dweebs on the “magical” message board.

If you refer to my post i don’t mean anything wrong with that, since he/she cant run the quick install package on localhost, then i am curious if he/she is able to run the standard Joomla package.
If he/she can run the standard Joomla package, then the easiest way is to just install the Teline template and help he/she to set it up as the demo is setup, instead of trying to fix the problem with the quick install package.
After a guided setup on localhost he/she would learn how to do it when he/she is going live with the site.:)
