Ok it seems to work when i save the ja t3 blank template but when i try the same thing with Ja purity template – Going to Joomla admin/templates/JA Purity then head to layouts i can edit when i hit the save it just goes into a loop
when i change default.xml it seems to not work for ja purity 2.
1.Can i just edit the files directly in xml file at core/layout/default.xml. will it then read there i tried this again purity 2 seems to not work- it seems to reading the xml file from somewhere else
2.i noticed once i change it on the blank template in ja t3 in the admin console it must be now reading a different xml file (not default.xml) which xml file is it reading once i change it . where is the location of this file (i guess its the same question as 1 just worded diffrently)
Please dont point me to the general read all you can. Im just asking if when i change from admin layout the blocks tags, it now is not reading from default.xml where is it reading the xml file from . Ive checked all in teh core/etc/layout folder and cant tell right now
