Hi,

I’m using JA MAGZ for my site at http://www.dart-creations.com

I have a comment component, and this is visible if I change the template to a different template from Joomlart, however on JA MAGZ, the comments don’t show up. The code can be clearly seen when you view source, but the comments don’t show up. Can you provide some guidance please?

Hi David,

You can try to backup and open templatesja_magzhtmlcom_contentarticledefault.php file, then change lines:

<?php if ($exinfo['type'] == 'text'): ?>
<?php echo $this->item->event->afterDisplayContent; ?>
<?php endif ?>


to

<?php echo $this->item->event->afterDisplayContent; ?>

Make sure that you configure this component to display the comments at After Display Content position on article view.

I’m not sure how to do that, using CComment.

@dattard1: The position of comment box can be configured inside the backend settings of that Comment component. You can PM me the admin login, I will help to configure that position to be displayed in JA Magz articles.
