Hi,
I installed Community Builder and inserted a “login” menu entry in the magazine menu of JA Teline IV. The menu appears right, but if I click on “register “or “lost password” I can’t see the contents. If I take a look at the source code of the generated page the contents are here, but didn’t show on the page.
You can see this if you go to http://anyversum.de and klick on “community” and “Registrieren” (register) for example. You see then the behavior like shown in the attached screenshot 1. If you stay on this page and go to the mega menu most of the menu entries are cutted (like shown in screenshot 2).
I searched the whole forum but I didn’t find any solution. Please help me!
Thanks an bye
Ralf

November 8, 2011 at 4:34 am #423635Hi,
Please check the thread http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/help-cant-create-new-account-for-user/
Creating new menu items for the registration should solve your issue.
November 8, 2011 at 9:39 pm #423727Hi Himangi,
thanks for your fast answer, this solves the first part of my problem. I created a new “register” menu item and now I can see the register form.
But, for example, if I klick on “register” after logged in the module shows only one sentence “you are already logged in”. In this case, where the bottom and top of the page are very near, longer menus are cuttet (please see the new attached screenshot). Originally the menu item “specials” has 8 sub-entries (as shown in screenshot 2), but in the case above I can only see three and a half entries…
Any idea to fix this?
BTW: Is there a possibility to not show the “register” menu item in the menu (an unvisible menu entry), because the login form already contains the links for “register” and “forgot password”?
Thanks and bye
Ralf

November 9, 2011 at 7:03 am #423773Hi,
To not show the Register menu item anywhere on the site but to still have it, you can simply create a menu container say ‘Unpublished Menu’ and move your Register menu from the current menu container to this new Unpublished menu item.
Regarding the menu cutting, I see in your first image, there is only one line content. So whenever there is much less content is on a page, menu will get cut. I can give you a fix for it with few styling changes, for that I will need a login username and password to see your site since it seems to be offline right now.
November 9, 2011 at 9:19 pm #423895Hi Himangi,
thanks for your help. It’s a good idea to make a non visible menu. And the other problem with the cutted menus is obsolet because I changed the behavior of the login module.
