Okay, so I have uploaded the template through extension manager, that did not work. (okay, I am a total NEWBY at Joomla, so be kindplease)…
After half a day frustration and watching a lot of tutorials, I decided to go through FTP instead and overwrite the whole package with the package I downloaded. I can see in my FTP that the file is downloaded (/webspace/httpdocs/templates/ja_teline_iv.v2.5.0) and everything seems to be there, but it STILL doesnot show in my Template manager.
This is driving me insane!
What am I doing wrong here?

Please help! (and talk kiddy talk. Like I said, I am a total Newby at Joomla).

Hi

To install your template have you followed the procedure as showed in this video ?

I mean with the template.zip file

Also as showed in the video you need to check your php directive UPLOAD MAX FILESIZE this must be higher than 2 Mb

If is so in this thread is showed how to resolve this problem

I did that. Uploading the template zip file and I get the message that the upload was succesul.

I also checked the PHP-info: It is set to:
upload_max_filesize 20M – 20M (Local and Master)
So that should be fine.

Still, no template shows up in my template manager….
Any other tips?

It gets even stranger:
I tried another template (JA Teline II), that works just fine.
It is just the Teline IV that gives me this problem and that is really the one I would love.

Tips anybody?

Try to download again the template.zip file from joomlart site and try to install it.
