March 6, 2009 at 11:46 pm #138859I have done this before but I can not seem to get it to work on this template.
I go to article manager, then click on parameters, I select options like
I want to turn on Title Linkable, hide Modified Date and Time etc but it is not saving.
I have done this before, but its not saving here now.
I mean, it looks like its saved when I go back and look at the parameters screen but it is just not doing it on the live site!
SUGGESTIONS?

It sounds like a permissions problem ? If it says saved on the admin but not sitewide then its not writing the changes back to the folders files db or wherever it needs to check your permissions, have you ‘applied the changes then saved? or just saved? sometimes i needed to apply first then save for the write to occur?
let us know how you go andf if we need to look further intop the problem

March 7, 2009 at 1:17 am #294740If I go into an individual article, and clear out the GLOBAL setting and choose what I want, THEN IT IS APPLIED TO THAT ONE ARTICLE.
However if I go an apply it globally it will not work for me. When I load up the parameters screen with the global values displayed I see the ones I have choses are saved. So on the parameters screen it shows the options I want shown or not shown. But on the front of the website it does not reflect these settings.
I am not clicking APPLY anywhere. I am clicking SAVE on the pop up that displays all global settings.
What is bizare is like I said above, I can go to one individual article, change the settings there, and it is reflected on the website as it should be.
I don’t know >:( The problem is not fixed. Obviously I need to try and get it figured out. Bah!

March 8, 2009 at 12:52 am #294804I found the issue, or correct way to set it.
The settings in the menu parameters overrides the global article settings. I click on My home menu and changed the parameters there and it worked for me.
