June 10, 2014 at 10:00 am #538459Hi there,
Thank you, I’ve received your hosting credentials OK but you forgot to include URL address of the hosting panel login page.
May I ask if you are planning to use K2 to create your web-site content or will your content rather be created as Joomla articles?
Regards,
Alex

June 10, 2014 at 4:19 pm #538494Upss.. sorry.. please check your pm.
Since I’m newbie, I don’t really know which one best joomla or K2 for my needs.
So, I’ll be glad if you can come out with both solution.
And maybe we can start with joomla articles first.Regards.

June 16, 2014 at 3:44 am #538973Hi there,
Sorry for the delay due to the weekend.
Basically, your registration form is missing ReCaptcha image due to old K2 version, which is version 2.6.7. Just update it to version 2.6.8, the latest K2 version at the time of me writing this post, and you should be good to go.
For more details please see my tip on this issue.
I strongly advise you contact your host and insist on upgrading your PHP version from 5.3.x to at least 5.4.x, as recommended by Joomla team:
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Alex

Everytime I installed, I got error warning “Warning: Failed to move file!”.what I had done to solve this issue, I change permission of template and tmp folder into 775.
and I got different warning “-1 – An error has occurred. Copy failed”I don’t have a clue how to solve it. 🙂
would you help me regarding this issue?thanks Alex.

June 16, 2014 at 6:25 am #539004Your problem is a known issue when using reCaptcha with K2. There should be a couple of solutions within these forums but I can’t find them at the moment.
Basically, the issue is that you have your reCaptcha codes entered in K2 and you have the reCaptcha turned on in Joomla (either system level or a plugin).
What is happening is that you are looking at a K2 form; entering the codes that you see; but when it goes back through to be checked it is being checked against the current Joomla validation first before it gets to K2 implementation and hence is incorrect.
The solution is to enter your codes in K2 and disable all reCaptcha in Joomla – then it will work.
This post from the K2 forums may help http://getk2.org/community/English-K2-Community/10508-SOLVED-Re-reCaptcha-not-working
Hope this helps.

June 16, 2014 at 3:10 pm #539065Alex,
One more question. After user success registering, and activate account, I found that admin need to activate also before the user can use it.
Can I change it? I means when the user activate a new account, the account automatically active ?How can I change it?
Regards
