    Hello,

although my Recaptcha shows well in the contact form

    http://artdrop.net/index.php/en/user-page-4/contact-us-3

it wont show up in the registration form

    http://artdrop.net/index.php/en/component/users/?view=registration

When captcha is enabled I also get the message

    Warning
    Empty solution not allowed

which wont allow to complete the registration process

    many thanks!

    Hi there,

Your registration form belongs to K2 component where ReCaptcha was disabled. I now turned it on for you but it won’t work until you update your K2 to it’s latest version.

For more details please have a look at the tip at http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/how-to-fix-missing-on-registration-form-recaptcha-image/.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Alex

    Hi there,

Did you get your own Public and Private ReCaptcha keys from https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/index.html? Did you enter them those keys into corresponding parameters in K2 and Joomla?

    Cheers,

    Alex

I have installed them, I also enabled all K2 modules as I was uncertain what was what

    still registration returns

    Error
The words you typed did not match the ones displayed. Please try again.

quite a few attempts; rather unlikely i failed them all

    Hi there,

Please try updating your Joomla to version 3.2.4 (Components -> Joomla Update -> Install the update), and see how it goes.

    Cheers,

    Alex

yes Alex, that did the job!

can you tell me if you changes anything else as we have one more argo site; is it just the update or any K2 parameter also?

    many thanks! Nikos

    Hi Nikos,

I am pleased to see you are out of the woods.

To your question. The only thing I did on your system was enabling ReCaptcha in your K2 Parameters -> Advanced tab. Basically, if your Joomla and K2 versions are up-to-date and you configured ReCaptcha with your own Public and Private keys, you should be good to go.

    Cheers,

    Alex

    everything ok Alex, many thanks!

i also noticed that if you use the K2 version you must NOT select Recapcha in Global conifg and Users config, or it wont work as there seems to be some conflict

    my best regards, Nikos

…seems it wont let me go; the upgrades appear to have destroyed the layout

    I receive the message

    Warning

JFolder: :folder: Path is not a folder. Path: /home2/buildin1/public_html/eum/less/themes
JFolder: :files: Path is not a folder. Path: /home2/buildin1/public_html/eum/tpls

    site has vanished
any advice besides reinstalling the template?

There is no need to disable ReCaptcha neither in global configurations nor in Users -> Options. Just disable “User – K2” plugin in your Joomla plugin manager and you are good to go.

Regarding your current situation with error messages and other issues, please recover your web-site from its last known working backup copy and if it doesn’t help, kindly create a new thread for us and we will take it from there.

    Alex

    Hi Nikos,

According to the roadmap at http://www.joomlart.com/support-lifecycle/, our developers team aims to start officially supporting Joomla 3.x from January 2015.

    Cheers,

    Alex
