Hi,
Does anyone know what could have caused my image captions to stop working? I’m using TinyMCE and for some reason I can’t get any captions under my pictures anymore.
It worked before and now it dosen’t. I don’t think I have changed any settings to effect this.. :confused:

Please see attached screenshots of what area I’m refering to. and the place I’m adding the photo title into…thanks!

DL and install JCE editor use that its stops a lot of problems with images etc google jce for joomla to find

1. Using JCE editor will be more friendly.

2. To add caption using tinyMCE – the method i follow is as below :

Open your article and at the bottom your will see these three buttons

Click on image and this is what you will see :

fill the details as marked by arrows and the result will be as expected.

edit :

Your captions are not showing as you are using the insert image feature from the toolbar of tiny MCE. It does not provide you with option to add title as the caption.

“ShannonN” said it too. Use JCE Editor. It helps.
