When I set a caption to a picture, the picture irreversibly aligns left. Is there a way to alight a captioned picture center?

when you do the article, and using tiny editor (backend), you can click on ‘html’ which would reveal html codes. in the image html code, enter ‘center’ instead of left. if nothing is specified, you can say align=center code.

Hmm. That doesn’t work. Not for the images which have ‘captions’. Have you found a way to centre captioned images?

I’m a complete novice with most of these matters but afaik there is no <img align=”center”> in html. There is a ‘Middle’ alright but thats not what you are looking for.

You would have to put the image in a centered DIV like… <div align=”center”><img></div> to get your image and caption centered. Of course there is probably a better way to do this with .css but this is the way I would do it.

Thanks for pointing this out. I thought there was some kind of flaw in the template when I found that I could not set images in the quickstart demo to align and wrap. After your comment I can see that all I have to do is turn off captions for the demo images and they will wrap as expected. Meanwhile, it would be nice to know what it would take to get captioned images to wrap as non-captioned images.
