Why does Wall create captions for some graphics, and not for others?

Is it possible to globally suppress captions? Globally enable captions?

I mainly have Facebook in mind here. YouTube, Vimeo, etc. seem to apply captions to every article/graphic.

The Facebook feed in JA Social adds captions to a few article graphics as shown in the attachment. Many other Facebook articles do not have captions. I would like to have all graphic with captions, or all without. Is there any way to do this?

My problem is only with Facebook. The other feeds are pretty good at providing captions for all article graphics.
