On an entirely fresh Teline IV T3 Joomla 3.2 install (quickstart) I’ve made 1 category, 1 menu item and 1 article with 2 images using the Image button under the editor window. The good news is that the Slideshow Popup works (with image captions) but the captions are not located under the images. What have I done wrong?

    Hi Tim,

It looks like you use <figure> tag and we don’t provide style for this tag by default, could you try to use markup as our demo site?

    <div><img class="caption" src="images/stories/demo/sport/football-4.jpg" border="0" alt="Sample image" title="Sample image" align="left" /></div>

    Hi Saguaros,

Thanks. I made 2 more copies of your Test Article 2 with the image tag format you suggested and they both work beautifully and exactly as required. See: Test Article 3 and Test Article 4 (jatoff)

But I’m not sure where the 3rd image (at top) in category blog view is coming from. I mean that this image is not in your Test Article 2’s html.

    See below.

Ah! I found it hiding in Images & Links 🙂

It was relatively easy:-) Not so easy is why JA popup works on that site but not on my main test site:

    Hi Saguaros,

Below is the html I see for the image tags in each article.

    http://tecsa.com/joomla3/index.php/en/fruit/test-article-3

    <div><img class=”caption” title=”I am Caption” src=”images/img-demo/ja-last-intro.png” alt=”I am Caption” align=”left” border=”0″ /></div>

    <div><img class=”caption” title=”I am image 2 Caption” src=”images/img-demo/ja-mi-thum.png” alt=”I am image 2 Caption” align=”left” border=”0″ /></div>

    http://gpm.tecsa.com/en/business-finance/business-finance/people/17478-obit-walter-george-bruhl-jr-dupont-co-retiree-4

    <div><img class=”caption” title=”Sample image” src=”images/Bruhl_Jr_Walter_photo.jpg” alt=”Sample image” align=”left” border=”0″ /></div>

    <div><img title=”Sample image” src=”images/j2xml/131217_2_Alan_Padbury_jpg_170.jpg” alt=”131217 2 Alan Padbury jpg 170″ />

    <div><img class=”caption” title=”Sample image” src=”images/stories/prepress/sistrade/sistrade_qatar.jpg” alt=”Sample image” /></div>

Which significant html differences do you see?

    Tim

Please try to update to the latest version as I replied in this thread then try to re-create this article http://gpm.tecsa.com/en/business-finance/business-finance/people/17478-obit-walter-george-bruhl-jr-dupont-co-retiree-4 with the same format as testing article above.
