    Hoping someone can help with this…

    I am having trouble altering the column ordering of a category blog layout menu item. I have three columns, and would like the order to show up across first rather than down first.

    To illustrate the layout is currently like this:

    1 | 5 | 9
    2 | 6 |10
    3 | 7
    4 | 8

    and I would like it to be like this:

    1 | 2 | 3
    4 | 5 | 6
    7 | 8 | 9
    10

    I have already changed the “Multi Column Order” parameter to “Across” but it doesn’t seem to make any difference with this template.

    I am using Joomla 1.5.10, Nickel “Blue” template

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello

    Did you try to do this with other template ?. After you did with other template, the problem still happen. May be that’s a bug of joomla ?we’ll update version for my site with lastest version.

    i came across this problem and managed to fix it by doing a compare with the core version of the category blog layout view. just paste in the missing code and it solves it. The file you’re after is blog.php in /html/com_content/category/
    (i’ve attached my tweaked version of it)
