I have created a new menu item type Category blog and choosen the category I want to show in a single page. I have done that for every language but it just doesn’t work, the article are not showing in a page.
All articles can be seen on front page (feature) but not on the menu item.
Articles, menu items and category are all published.
Tried to do that on different menu item and category but the problem stays the same. NO articles on page are displayed in category blog layout on whole site.
    What is the problem?:confused::confused:
This has never happend to me yet.

    Hello cakish,

You need to translate your articles and categories to different language. Then they’ll be shown when you change language on front-end.

So, you are say that I can’t publish document just in one language or two but I have to translate it in all 6 languages to be able to publish it otherwise they will not be visible?
I can see and publish as a single article and I can’t publish them in category blog? >:(>:(>:(>:(>:(
Is this Joomla setting problem or in your template.
    How can it be solved?

    I have one more problem:
how to get read more link to show in article and to work because the <hr id=”system-readmore” /> is not working
I have activated it and checked for global article option and there also this option is enabled but it doesn’t work when I activate it.

This is not my first joomla site, as I never had this problem before I would like to ask somebody to help me please with this problem. This should be automatic thing, but somehow I have this problems with articles and categories (last posted problem that I can’t solve)

It’s Joomla feature. If you publish an article as language “All”, it’ll be displayed in all languages. If it’s published as a specific language, it’s only displayed in that language.

    Hello cakish,

Because you set “Hide” for “Show Readmore” in settings of menu item. It always takes preference of menu settings first and override the global settings.

I have done as you said:
    1. checked in article options of all articles in site – set all options to USE GLOBAL
    2. checked in category options of all categories on site – set all option to USE GLOBAL
    3. in menu item – HOME – Menu Item Type(Articles ยป Featured Articles) set in Article option Read more to SHOW – so it would override everthing else
    4. then I did that in every menu item that had that option and again nothig chaned – I can see a link read more when I use this option in editor.
After I did that menu setting did override all category and article option but it didn’t change anythig on front page. Why?
Did I miss something or is it really a problem in Joomla template?
    What to do? :((
I you can show me that it is working use one article in frontpage on english, german, french and croatian language you want and set Read more option to work.:((

Thanky for you help so far.

    Hello cakish,

You need to add “Read more” indicator to article in “Edit article” screen in back-end (by clicking on “Read more” button on editor). I try to add the indicator to “Tourist is first hotel in continental Croatia with halal certificate” article for English, German,French and Croatian language. “Read more” worked well. No problem faced. Please check my below screenshots for languages and confirm the same.

    English:

    German:

    French:

    Croatian:

    Regards.

    1. croatian_home
    2. french_home
    3. german_home
    4. english_home
