Hi,
I use this great extension to view filtered content from one main-category and the corresponding sub-categories.
Question: is there a chance to view the main-category title and description above the search / filter results?
I already could change the view of the result-listing to my customized k2-template, but I can’t find an option or the code to get the description viewed. 🙁
Oh: I used the menu item (JA K2 FILTER » itemlist), K2 vers. 2.6.9 and Joomla 3.4.8

Hi,

In JA K2 Filter, we use task search, not task category view, so the Category id is not imported. Hence, the info such as Category Name, Description won’t be shown.

If you want to achieve that, I recommend you to hire a developer to get it done for you as this customization takes time.

Thanks for the info. I already changed my K2 template and included database queries, etc. to get it work. It’s inconvenient, but works. 🙂
