I’m using Larix (in J! 1.0.13 quickinstall) with Joomfish 1.8.2. Everything works perfectly except for the translation of the 4 different categories showed in JA-News on the frontpage.
In the translation of the module, there’s simply no field (seems logic) but it doesn’t seem to look to the translations of the category-names themselves either.
Plz, help!

October 12, 2008 at 3:52 pm #274869I’m assuming you are wanting it to translate in multiple languages?

October 14, 2008 at 11:25 am #275220Hi fellow delevopers,
This might work for those, running J1.5…
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/janews-and-joomfish/Unfortunately, I’m running the J.1.0.13 Quickstart installation of JA Larix.
So, need some great help like visigod’s in the threat above!October 15, 2008 at 8:56 am #275380When I hit ‘checkout’ in the quickstart installation of JA Larix, one gets forwarded to:
index.php?page=checkout.index&ssl_redirect=1&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1
(which doesn’t work)Now, it comes:
When I replace this link with:
index.php?page=checkout.index&cartReset=N&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=41
I do get forwarded to the checkout-page but all template details are lost.Should this be usefull information for our coding heroes to give us some kind of a clue how to solve the problem?

October 15, 2008 at 9:23 am #275386do you enabled the flag Generally prevent https connections? in VM -> admin -> configuration -> security
i think that i solved with that…October 15, 2008 at 9:37 am #275389Hey Andy,
Thanks for your reply, but I don’t get what you mean.
There’s no tab ‘security’ in VM -> admininistration -> configuration (1.0.12). I assume you mean the tab path&url?
And what do you mean with ‘enabled the flag’?I haven’t secured the checkout, yet. I first want to be able to get there. Or is that the wrong order?

October 23, 2008 at 3:21 pm #276724I’m really flabbergasted about the lack of response to this threat!?
I think it’s not a JA-Larix problem but a JA-News issue that should concern the Joomlart team à nd the Joomfish team
Maybe it should be posted elsewhere?Anyone?
