I know I ask a lot of questions, some may be dumb.. so here goes another one.. is there a way to have it set up to make photos default value centered on the page, or do I have to do them individually.. (that is in an Article)

Further in gallery is there a way to upload a folder full of pics, or again do they have to be done one at a item,

I was thinking, If I could open a bunch in batch to a program like word, then copy paste them all at once the file names might help in having them actually work.. But I would have to play with the best program for that I am pretty sure word is not going to be it.. without picking up frames.. maybe someone knows of a mod that will help..

Long story short, the idea for this site was started by an Officer named Bill Hackley, it had 90 pages, when Bill died, he left his site to me… It was on a Verizion personal server, and was costing his wife near $50 a month extra on her billl. and she wouldn’t take the money.. So I asked if she would mind if I did a total rebuild on a different server and she wouldn’t have a bill anymore.. that she was OK with as long as I promised to never let the site go dead, When I did the first bebuild – I eft this up because it wasn’t costing me any extra and left me sort of a backup, that site has over 200 pages, the rebuild of that has more than 500 pages.. and now we are building the new site version.. I like the new news version better.. But that site is I think 2.5

There is an extension called J2XML that you can use to import from other Joomla sites. It pulls in articles, images, categories etc. It’s also the right price. I use it every day. http://extensions.joomla.org/extension/j2xml See the other Joomla plugins from Helios too. I use them all.

@historydetective Do you have Admin Tools Pro extension installed on your baltimorepolicehistory.net site?

BTW, Using “Incognito’ feature in Chrome browser enables access to http://baltimorepolicehistory.net/ 🙂 I suspect a geolocation blocker is actiivated, such as in Admin Tools Pro.

Your admin login page, on right, looks different from normal joomla login. Never seem a logo like that before.
