Dear jidesign
In the template setting you will see a option that name Default Style under the Themes tab,In here you can change the Style to that you want,That will also change the background color image.
If you want to customize the color schemes to your taste, you will have to edit the css files accordingly. Most of our users are able to achieve that, however, some basic knowledge of css is required. Since, it require major css customization, we may not be able to help much with the same. Though, we shall be able to guide you if you are stuck during the process.
