    You can use different template styles/profiles to accomplish different looks or backgrounds, then assign that profile to the menu items that you want it to appear on.

    which part of the CSS or layout XML that we should edit…?

    for example,
    I want to change “page1” background..
    there are only 2 options: LIGHT and DARK
    how to change/edit the LIGHT/DARK background into picture backgorund that I want to use [for example: images/my_bg.jpg]..?

    which part I should edit and how to edit it?

    🙂
    please advise.

    thankyou

    @anrangelov: good question, mate 🙂

    You can do this adding “div.yourname{ background: url(../images/picturename.jpg); }” in template.css, and then in template manager/layouts/your default theme/edit, find your module position and change light/dark with “yourname” like this:
    <page name=”gallery” type=”modules” title=”Gallery” class=”yourname”>page5</page>
    and than in module you want to change type in advanced option/Module Class Suffix/_onepage_yourname
